My passion for design was ignited by psychology; how can we better understand human nature, and how can we use that knowledge to solve problems? With my curiosity as fuel, I cultivated a multi-disciplinary background of art, engineering and psychology to inform my solutions and guide my exploration.
When I'm not working on interesting tech challenges, you can find me creating with lasers, practicing kung-fu, or dipping my brush into watercolour.

And in case you're wondering what it's like to work with me, here's what some of my colleagues have to say!
"Suhaila's approach is equal parts strategic and humanist. She does the up-front research to understand user motivations and always ensures that we have the background information we need to make good design decisions. Plus, she’s versatile: she's equally comfortable pitching concepts to the creative team and presenting work to the executive team."
- Designer at Zenreach
"A gift to work with! Strong-willed and ambitious, Suhaila delivers with thoughtful methodology and varied perspectives. She's someone you can count on."
- Engineer at Kik
"Suhaila built the visual tone and signature of the company. She created both the patient and medical experiences and educated our team on UX & product design. I've 100% enjoyed working with Suhaila: she has strong & relevant opinions, while acknowledging better ideas. She's a team player and understands how to effectively collaborate with an engineering team. She's in the top 5% of Product Designers I've worked with."
